Useful Father’s Day Bundles
May 30th, 2007Father’s Day is June 17th this year. It will be my second as a new dad, and I suppose I have a whole lifetime ahead of me to fill the closet with strange neck ties.
As I think about what I’m going to get my father by contemplating what kind of gift I would like myself, suddenly the material aspect itself seems rather insignificant compared to the thoughts of spending time with family and making sure they understand how much you care.
In contrast to typical father’s day gift selection, Dads are always doing useful things for us. Checking your car’s tire pressure. Fixing leaks. Offering advise on mortgage loans. They want to protect us.
Why not return the favor by skipping the neon neck tie this year and give dad something as useful as they try to be for us. Give him something he can enjoy that is also good for him and will definitely be used. Afterall, we want our dad to be as healthy as possible and around to enjoy as many future father’s days as possible.
I recently added a page about organic gifting. There are lots of healthy dad snacks that can be added to an affordable basket.
- Natural beef, turkey, or veggie jerky snacks
- Assortment of bulk food nuts (Macadamia, Brazil, Pistachios, Peanuts)
- Trail mixes
- Organic pretzels, chips and salsa
- Old fashioned natural root beer
- Men’s Health Vitamins and Supplements
Next time your dad is watching the game and enjoying some snacks, he can grab something nutritious and delicious from your basket and know that you care for him the way he’s always tried to take care of you.
